I.D. Please
This is a plant that I bought from a local greenhouse. It's thriving in my minigreenhouse and is growing new pitchers. The new pitchers are very small compared to the originals.
I'm new to this forum, but I plan on sifting through and getting all the information I can. A point in the right direction would be awesome! |

Re: I.D. Please
This is a hybrid between N. ventricosa and N. alata, the former being a highland pant and later an intermediate plant. It will give you larger pitchers and darker colored pitchers in cooler conditions. When the plant is moved from the nursery to your home, it will take some time to adjust to your home environement. As such the first few picthers if any will be small. But since yours is giving you pitchers, it is a sign that the conditions are right.

Re: I.D. Please
N. ventrata. As David said, if you provide it cooler conditions, it will pitcher bigger and give redder pitchers. Nice find!
