thanks cpnut and ken.

ken, i'll take more pictures and also measurements of the plant when i get back this weekend.

BA, ICU = bagging them up and leaving them in a shady place. for the fussy group of norths and camps, i purposely move them away from the sprinklers so that they get just enough water but not enough to have the media wet like the others. i find that norths and camps (veitchii and albos also) are more fussy about media that is too wet, running water through their roots once in a while seems to be more better for health than having them in a media that is constantly wet. of course when i move them away from the sprinklers, they still get a through drenching when it rains.

it is a fine balance to strike between giving camps and norths just enough water while keeping their media just dry/moist enough. i cheat by using chunks of burnt earth, but i believe that charcoal/wood/fern bark chips should be able to do the trick too. when all else fails in my attempts to grow a particular nep, i would reduce watering and keep the nep drier, just to see if it helps. more often than not, keeping the nep drier usually works.

ken, i didn't manage to take any pictures of the raff clone 99, but took some measurements for you. the pitcher in the picture is 4" high, and each leaf is about 8" long.
