Andy, very nice ionanthas there, blooming season for them again eh? Can I do guesses again? :P Ok, pic 1-4 (respectively) is ionantha mexico, ionantha rubra, ionantha rosita (?), ionantha fuego. Correcto?
My fuegos and mexicos do not flush their colours much when in bloom, probably not enough full sun. I exposed them to almost full sun once but their tips turn brown so I had no choice but to shift them back under 50% shade.

Ya...they are very free flowering.

Ouch!.....You only get the Feugo correct for the last picture.
The names as to follow the pictures respectively are:
1. T. ionantha var stricta
2. T. Peewee
3. T. ionantha hyb. (my hyb.)
4. T. ionantha Feugo.

You can try 30% shade cloth. They will do better than a 50% one. And also you can try with different locations. I think this will help al ot.
