Nepenthes X miranda Cultivation
Hybrid Name: N. x miranda
Parents: N. (maxima x northiana) x maxima Highland/Lowland: Highland and Lowland Man Made / Natural Hybrid: Man Made Hybrid Country of Origin: Belgium (Artificial Hybrid) Parents: Sulawesi, New Guinea, and the Maluku Islands (Maxima) Borneo (Northiana) Natural Habitat: Not Applicable Cultivation Guide: Lighting: 70% to Full sunlight Potting Medium: Cocopeat, Cocochips and other low land mix. Temperature: Tropical Lowland Humidity: 50% to 90% Lowland conditions Watering: Once a day, allowing Top layer to Dry out a bit is okay. Water tray sometimes used. Propagation: Stem Cutting. Internodes is a bit short however. Grow the plants under 70% to Full sunlight and under the hot tropical climate. Allow the top layer media to dry out inbetween waterings. Humidity at around 50%-90% depending on the time of the day. Remarks: As typical of most hybrids, this plant is a fast Grower, it also produces quite large pitcher when plant is mature. *members kindly please comment and post your opinions about what your experiences are with this hybrid.
