Hello everybody!
Hello!
My name is Mateusz (nick: Gringo) and I live a little bit further than Malaysia or the surrounding areas - I live in Poland , exactly near Rybnik  . I grow carnivorous plants since 2003. I don't have so good environment as you in the South - East Asia to grow Nepenthes, but exotic plants are my favourite ones (especially Nepenthes and Heliamphoras  ). I made an account here, because I always wanted to keep in contact with people with the same interests as mine and living in a so far away country from Poland . I hope that I'll learn some useful things for cultivation here, and maybe one day help you all.Regards, Gringo

No, I grow my Nepenthes, ephiphytic Utricularias, Brocchinias and one Heliamphora in a terrarium. There is not much light during winter (only 46W
 ), but in the begginnings I grew my plants on the windowsill, without any extra light during winter, so they are prepared for this  . A very warm welcome to you, Gringo. Hope you enjoy the forum. Yes, we should share and help each other, that's what the forum for!
 In Poland, I think you are more readily for highland neps then we do, most of us living in the lowland  ! Heliamphora are more comfortable in your place for sure. Hey! you are lucky!Welcome again!

BTW, do you grow in cellars when the season gets too cold..?
