Default Advice for veitchii i got

Hey guys i just got a new veitchii...Not my first time growing it but i didn't succeed in growing it that well the last time....So i have questions. I know it needs a well draining media and likes to be dry out between watering...

Would it be okay if i spray the leaves 1-2 times a day so i can get higher humidity for it? Or would they dislike it?

Here it is now

Yes, a well drained media and dry out in between is good for the plant. Mine didn't have a well drained media which obviously had bad consequences......is urs the HL veitchii?

got 2 of these, potted one with 100% charcoal and another one 100% smash bricked(much larger size compared to burn soil), both top with the hard to die moss, so far so good, have to say, it grow slow for me, but watering wise, I've been watering them twice a day and shows no sign of over watering

I have a smaller veitchii for 5+ months now. Should be the same clone. Grown in sphagnum moss. Water once a day. In shadiest corner with dappled sunlight. Never dry out. Steadily put up a new pitcher every month. New leaves are now 3x the size when it came. Doesn't look too fussy. Hope will produce pitchers like yours soon...

IMHO pure charcoal (especially the size you are using) may be too dry. I use coarse lumps of burnt earth + charcoal + a bit of limestone + a bit of moss. My seedlings have doubled in size every year.
