Abate for CP water trays
« Thread Started on Jan 16, 2007, 11:05am » guys/gals,

I have a newbie question. Since we use water trays extensively to keep our CPs happy and moist, I am wondering if we can put abate(mosquito prevention) in our trays? Anyone tried this.

Please advise. Thank you.

Rgds,
Isaac

« Reply #1 on Jan 16, 2007, 1:24pm » I have not tried it but I don't think so it is a good idea. Chemicals, chorine, minerals and deslove salts do not go well with CPs. I have tried watering my neps with tap water and filtered water. Those watered with filtered water grow better and healtier.

If you have an extra plant that is the black sheep in the family, you can try it on that "fella". Perhaps a Sundew that refuses to produce dews and always look like a lump of rotten vegetables.

... eh, just kidding! Don do that.
