Red face Nep.Ampullaria help

Hi guys,

My ampullaria is giving out a lot of basal shoots.

As you can see it in the picture, the leaves are big but the pitchers are small.
I thought it will grow like how they'll in the wild where the pitchers are bigger than the rosette leaves.

Is there any way to make the plant to produce bigger pitchers?

Currently,i fed my ampullaria with fish pellets, it receives direct morning sunlight from 7a.m to 10a.m.

Thanx for stopping by,

Hi Ali

Well 1st of all N ampullaria does not produce big pitchers.
2ndly i think since N ampullaria grows under trees, bushes and shrubs and stuff like that they prefer shaded conditions.

When did you get the plant??If its still new maybe getting used to your conditions

Ali, It's normal as it was grown within limited pot space. Unless it was grown on the ground.

Well, what i noticed is that neps produce smaller pitcher when the humidity/water low although the leaves might be big.

Ali ur plant is quite big and i see the moss is quite little.Add more moss from below and water plenty.Keep in shade as that is how amps grow in the wild.I see ur leaves are red probably due to sunburn. If got a chance repot to a bigger pot.

Hi Ali

Nice to see you already repotted it so fast......One thing put it in a much more shaded condition in the pic it looks like its receiving a lot of direct sunlight.
