Re: Pics from the bedroom growrack ~
Nice collection of plants you have there SirKristoff. Love the mosses growing on top of the media. Like bonsay, I would also like to ask if you could upload your whole set up for us to see.

Re: Pics from the bedroom growrack ~
Thanks for the picture. It's a really nice setup. Can I know how you place the lights in the setup? From the picture it looks like the lightings are placed directly in the setup. Would that be too humid/wet for the electrical stuff? I've been thinking about something like this for a cold terrarium and I was thinking of using a refrigerator. Still figuring out how to fix the lighting without the lighting getting wet (if I place them inside).

Re: Pics from the bedroom growrack ~
Actually David, i havent had any problems with humidity on these lights. i lived in Florida for 14 years where the humidity is a constant 100%+ and the shoplights there never really had a problem with the moisture.
The bottom lights are protected from the top with a plastic cover between the lights and the plants above. ive actually found that the lights keep the humidity nice and high around the plants, but up around the lights, the warmth keeps the air a little more dry. ive got a fan running as well keeping it from condensating on the fixtures and for air flow. hope this helps Happy growing Kris |
