Ventratas? Oh, we dont see that often here. Mostly they sell alatas, common are the greens. When I was a kid, alata was my very first nepenthes and it can grow in any potting media even soil/sand.

![]() Black hirsuta is kinda small like ampullaria. They even send basals like ampullaria too. The green and reds are big like alatas. I hope to propagate these stuff. ![]() |

Yep, there are many types of alata but the true alata is the highland type. Its pretty, and can grow big too if with good humidity and high altitude.
