Need some advice...

Hi;

I sowed a few seeds of B.Liniflora, D.Spatulata, D.Burmanni, D.Capensis and VFT three weeks ago. Now some of them already germinated. (See my pictures - sorry for low quality)









My question is, (since they're too tiny and young) should I place them to the direct sunlight now or should I wait for a couple of weeks before doing that?

You should wait a few weeks before moving to direct light. When you do this you should make sure that it is gradual other wise they could burn off.

You should get full sun on Byblis.Kelvin lost a few Byblis seedling to fungus because he didn't put them on full sun.

I got two byblis seedlings now... Maybe I should try to put one of them under direct sunlight to prevent fungus attack.... I hope there will be more advice on this.

A bright place with good ventilation will not get algae that fast, let them grow bigger before you move them to direct sun and like what A*** (strath76) said move them gradually to direct sun, or your seedling will be burnt.

Hi Zul,

For byblis, you should monitor the media carefully once germinated. Don't leave it too wet. The seedlings tend to die from ***ping off disease easily if it is left soaking wet. You should introduce full sun gradually.
