Default Hello, I'm back after a long time~

Hello everyone, I'm Zak.

I actually joined a long time ago but college kept me real busy for a long time... Finally got things to a nice balance haha. My collection of CPs I have kept small to keep maintenance minimal as I didn't have much time, but now I'm looking to grow my collection a bit =D I'm really suprised by how much PetPitcher has grown since I was active online =O

Yeah I was active in 2007 I think. Then college got way too hectic @_@ In May I'm gonna get busy again as I start my final year for my diploma, but I think I'm prepared to handle things well enough to keep active with PetPitcher =)

I'm sure the other senior members here know a lot more than I do but I do have some experience with some plants. But my growlist is quite small right now.

Funkychips, what other plants besides neps are you going into?

Btw one plant I can provide in abundance is Pinguicula primuliflora and I know exactly how to take care of that haha. If anyone wants one just say. It's an easy plant to grow and spreads like a weed.

Zak, I just started off with a P.moranensis, small plant about 2 inches wide. Just testing to see if I can grow them in my garden before I move on to other types of CPs. I'm thinking Sarrs...
Primuliflora? Thanks, I guess if it's worth a try, why not. I'll let you know once my moranensis grows bigger hehehe...

Well you have it anytime. Just PM me and I can get it to you, drop off or by mail since you're in Petaling, no cost unless you live in some hard to reach location that will cost me alot of fuel haha. They're a total beginner plant. When I first got mine it got removed from the pot by a cat for a few hours and dried up. When I realised I put it back in and it recovered! Almost impossible to kill lol.

If you're going for sarras, hybrids usually are stronger and easier to grow, but I also find purpurea varieties easy to grow (the short fat ones). They also can survive in less light and still grow normally. I've grown one indoors by an East window and it did fine.

Hey caseyhoo! Glad to see some people from back when haha.
