Unhappy over watering signs?

i have a N truncata all the leaves have turned brown and all the pitchers have turned black its only happening on my truncata and one or to of my seedlings could this be because they have to much water?

From your description, it could be possible, but a picture would really help. Did the leaves start browning from the bottom leaf onwards to the growing tip?

How does one determine the correct "dosage" if you will of how much water should be used anyway? Is there a guide on this, I guess it depends on various variables with regards to this type of plant.
