Do I let it flower or should I snip it off so that it won't stress the plant? « Last Edit: 7 Aug, 2007, 2:34 by ameliepoulain »Link to Post - Back to Top LoggedAthene's CP Growlist Athene's Wishlist cosmoking Full Member member is offline Joined: Apr 2007 Gender: Male Posts: 186 Location: Bristol, United Kingdom Re: Athene's Droseras « Reply #3 on 7 Aug, 2007, 4:19 »Athene Im impressed-for a beginner, both of your plants look extremely happy and healthy-keep it up There is no need to cut off the flower stalk from the D. spatulata as they dont really stress the plant out at all. FYI i grow my drosera under full sun with water tray, same condition as my VFT. U can start propagating your Adelae if u want Congrats for your Spatulatha. U will collect a lot of seeds in no time Link to Post - Back to Top Logged[Naj Grow List] --- [Naj Wanted List]tarence Global Moderator member is offline Joined: Apr 2007 Gender: Male Posts: 1,523 Location: Bandar Kinrara , Puchong Re: Athene's Droseras « Reply #5 on 7 Aug, 2007, 9:44 »Hi Athene...our ( ?, heheh) / your spatulata `baby` is doing great....yes, let the flower bloom....it`s a hardy plant, can continue blooming & provide seed many times......you`ll have your spat jungle in no time at all. Lovely....btw, do look out for aphids under the leaves or on the flower stalk...they sometimes appear.... |
