It took 5 years before it can be published and considered as a new species for Malaysia. It is a lowlander and was discovered in the UKM campus in Bangi. It has been named after the Vice Chancellor of UKM - Profesor Dato Dr Sharifah Hapsah. Published in the International Journal of Botany 3(1):71-77,2007. I have post the copy of the Journal in my website in the PDF fomat (Last night it was under Word Doc - the wording is not very clear) Maybe after Lisham expedition we will have another new species for Malaysia - Go Lisham go. There are many of such examples, with what they are doing with plant names, I guess Lisham you can get away with yours too! A few things such as the shape of the stem, the distribution of the nectar gland under the lid etc. Fauzi Link to Post - Back to Top ![]() www.dapat.net/4zeplant |
