Hello from Colombia

I am an 37 years old Electronics Engineer working for a public Telecom company, I have been growing plants since I was a child by influence from my father. I started with orchids and then started to move more to CPs, as I got really fascinated with them when my father bought his first Dionaea muscipula and Drosera capensis.

My collection started with some D.spatulata sold flasked at a garden center as D.rotundifolia, and started to get larger later when a friend brought some sundew seed from Germany. Since then (about 20 years ago) I have been mostly interested in the genus Drosera and that continues to be my main interest, but I am also interested in others like Utricularia, Genlisea, Pinguicula and Nepenthes.

I have a spanish CP website (http://www.carnivoras-la.org) and currently and for the past 4 months, have been living in a highland country house on the mountains near Medellin at 2600 meters over sea level.

Did not know about this forum until today, and hope to meet new CPers here and share with you knowledge, experiences, pictures, etc.
