I do keep lots of hybrid.......but i do not hybridize them.....takes too long and i do not have the space to do it......

Nope this is the reverse cross of Chiquininga......i have a Chiquininga too....the leaf coloring and texture r quite different....Chiquininga leaves r greener, longer and less furry in texture....the ionantha x fasciculata is from RFF and it's leaves grows in a more compact form......

just bush the pollen of one plant to the stigma of another......if it fertilizes, a seed pod will be develope.....than u will have to wait for the seed pot to split open......might take as long as a year....depending on species n hydrids.....once the seed pod splits open, collect the seeds n germinate them.....once germinated to a seedling, it's growth might stall for up to 5 years in order to see any growth, again this also depends on the hybrid some takes a shorter time.....

Yours is more caulescent than the normal .X nidus.

Agree....that's y RFF did not label it as nidus.....it could that they have cross it with a different ionantha or fasciculata.....wouldn't really noe
