Try some more neps. I'd doubt that you would need a terrarium in Oregon. Some of the best nep growers live there. Your house should be plenty warm during the winter.

I only have so much windowsill space though. It's already kind of full! And I don't think they'd be happy sitting on my desk on the dark side of the room.

Well, I got rid of some aloes, which cleared some windowsill space, so I ordered two more neps. Although I may have bitten off more than I can chew, they're both lowlanders. But I'll see what I can do. One thing is that this house is always warm. I can't stand cold temperatures myself, so my room is heated. XD So I just have to keep them humid! Ordered a bicalcarata and an ampullaria.

I also bought a bromeliad, and added that to the list! I mentioned that already over in the other plants area. :D Going to get some orchids soon too, I think. Particularly if I can find a couple that like lower light, so they can sit next to the window, and not on the windowsill.

They came! Four kinds of venus fly trap, three kinds of nepenthes, and a whole mess of unknown sarracenia hybrid seedlings. :D

It is! Sorry, I should have said. :D I forget that part, because I never see any other kind of pleiospilos around. Nelii is the most common species, and I think there's only one other.

I added my new succulents, and also a link to my photo growlist website, so people can see photos of my plants.

You should be able to grow Cephalotus without a terrarium. They come from a temperate area in Western Australia and can grow with relatively low levels of humidity. The key for Cephalotus is strong light.
