My wish is for this to be female and I would have access to N. Dyeriana pollen. That would compliment the plant for warm vigor, large pitchers and now a very colorful striped form. The parents were siblings from a cross made by Cliff Dodd back in the 70's. The seed was somewhat old, and made by a friend here in Florida. Germination was weak, and the resulting seedlings were weak except for two plants, which are finally starting to put on some size. The pitchers are already showing promise, and would find it interesting to one day cross one of them into EP's bloodline of northiana x veitchii. We also have a cutting of what would be their uncle! The future looks promising! We have been extremely busy as well, with a daughter approaching three years old, my regular work schedule and a small nursery, it's all we can do to keep up with the world of pitcher plants...and all other CPs. We enjoy being a part of the community, especially with you folks on the west side of the Pacific Ocean (and eastern side of the Indian Ocean). It's the opposite side of the planet for us, but where the action is! « Last Edit: Dec 5, 2007, 10:04pm by sunbelle »Link to Post - Back to Top ![]() Administrator ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() member is online ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Joined: Dec 2006 Gender: Male ![]() Posts: 2,326 Location: Kuala Lumpur ![]() « Reply #12 on Dec 6, 2007, 10:30am » ![]() ![]() I still remember the beautiful pictures of vikings you posted in another forum.
