How big can a Ping get?

How big can a Pinguicula get? What is the largest species and what is the size? I did not know this before last weekend.

Any guess?

I've always thought the maximum size they could get is about 4-5 inches in diameter across. Perhaps I did not know better. So those experts who know please bear with me.

I was so wrong about the size of 4-5 inches diameter.

My jaw dropped and my eyes literally popped out when I saw this...




Here's another picture with my hand for you to compare. By the way, the owner told me this is small. He had one that is almost double that size but some one bought it of him.



This Ping is cultivated in Highland conditions in Cameron Highlands in pure Sphagnum moss by the owner.
