It was an exchange with no specified cps mentioned, just any and i will be happy. so the sender gave me 12 cps. There are also sarras, vfts and droseras. There are still good hearted and humble people in this world Thanks Athene. photography was my passion and it was all learnt through reading, trial and error. with digital it's much simpler and less costly. Everyone can succeed. I love the heliam too Link to Post - Back to Top Logged jonathan Senior Member member is offline Joined: May 2007 Gender: Male Posts: 357 Location: sg buloh Re: heliam and drosera « Reply #4 on Feb 25, 2008, 2:01am » Robert there has always been good hearted and humble people in this world it's just that we seldom and hard to meet them... ( But i have a chance to meet a few trough my lifetime) "thanks god" erm... anyway it's some lovely cps you have there.. "guard them with your life" hehe... Manage to get so many heliamphoras. I am excited to see you starting to grow other CPs besides Neps. Always thought of you as a pure Nep grower. Alright lah! Glad you're growing other CPs. What other Droseras did you get? Eh, show us all the pictures of the 12 CPs laa... I want to see. « Last Edit: Feb 25, 2008, 2:09pm by David »Link to Post - Back to Top LoggedMy Wantlist tarence Global Moderator member is offline Joined: Apr 2007 Gender: Male Posts: 1,523 Location: Bandar Kinrara , Puchong Re: heliam and drosera « Reply #6 on Feb 25, 2008, 6:07pm » nice plants & pics Robert...good, you are diversifying. heheh. i hope that plants will take to our weather & thrive for you. From what i read from other neighboring forum, H. xTequila thrives very well in the tropics. But Robert, u can try out this Heliamphora your fren gave too. Hope it can adapt very well here and the list of Sunpitchers that can adapt in the tropics will start to grow Link to Post - Back to Top Logged[Naj Grow List] --- [Naj Wanted List] Robert Advisor - Nepenthes member is offline Joined: Jan 2007 Gender: Male Posts: 584 Location: Sarawak,Malaysian Borneo Re: heliam and drosera « Reply #8 on Feb 25, 2008, 9:06pm » David, sure i will post all but slowly as i have to wait for them to get used to the weather and put out new leaves. There are some VFTs, sarras, gemmae are germinating, and other drosera(aliciae, adeale). The parcel was delivered to me 2 weeks after it arrived and the only one that " migrated" was D.affinis . Thanks Tarence and Naj for the encouragement. |

Re: Robert: heliam and drosera
I have been growing heliamphoras for over a year now. I have something interesting to show you.
Here, side by side are two plants I bought from YG Park back in late December, last year. One in grown along with my highlander nepenthes in aircond environment with 60-70% humidity and subjected to bright morning sun. The other in a tank subjected to 80% to supersaturated humidity. The tank has a room temperature range of 25°C to 31°C. And lighted by three 2 ft florescent lights |
