Default Bizzare

It's bizzare, I can't grow ventricosa well. Back before my hamata died they grew side by side. Hamata would pitcher while ventricosa would just throw out leaves. It's the only plant in my collection that does not pitcher. I guess that the beginner species just don't like me. I still have it today alongside stenophylla, ramispina, izumea, truncata, eymae, ceasar, and 11 veitchii hybrid seedlings from Jimmy, thanks. So, any thoughts. Medium is fine and no signs of pest. It is 4 inches from 2 T8's

Perhaps you are suited for super difficult species. I think it is either your ventricosa is just shocked or something like that

Cheers

Hi Varhoon

N ventricosa is a very hardy highland plant which does well even in lowland conditions.

Ken,
There are many types of ventricosa and some are very difficult to grow.

Alcran,

If your hamata is pitchering well, that means you have high humidity and humidity is not a concern in this case.
My ventricosa is getting bigger by each leaf. Why not you post a pic so that we can identify the type of the plant and work something out for it.

You have xCaeser?Really love that plant...it's a monster.

Thanks for the thoughts guys. I think that I got a weak clone. Other growers have been having the same experiences with this clone.

Maybe you just need to be patient. How did you get hamata?? That guy is a killer expensive.
