aliamyz, your first unknown looks likely to be a N. x hookeriana or N. ampullaria and the 2nd unknown (bought in shopping complex) most probably is N. Miranda.

can you also reduce the size of your images to about 480x360 before uploading? instead of the full size of 2048x1536? thanks!

16th, 17th, 18th, 19th look more like a N.x mixta x fusca, not N.x miranda. « Last Edit: May 30, 2008, 3:49pm by bifurcatum »Link to Post - Back to Top Logged arvin555

I noticed in the background in one of your photos that you have your aircon compressor/exhaust quite near your plants. I am not too sure about the effects of this, but please do consider that the aircon exhaust is both HOT and Humid, and because often home aircon are turned on at night only, you be giving your plants a Hot and Humid environment at night. Surely not great for highlanders, not sure what effect to low landers, though I suspect that even low landers want a bit of cool nights as well.

I have an Alata that is 6 feet from exhaust of my brother's aircon, not much difference I can see. But I still want to be careful.
