Smile 1st pitcher

Hi guys,

After years of waiting,finally this guy planned to put out it's first pitcher.

xJungle bells

One morning,a miracle happened




The same pitcher after two days.


This guy sure grows slowly though.Please share yours everyone.

Hi Ali

That hybrid is from EP right? I tot it does quite well in our conditions.....Sibu x vent...Anyways just share a bit...During the rainiest season of KL which is april (found out ) The cool weather has really helped my lady pauline...It has made its first pitcher after being pitcherless for so long..Well its kinda greenish since it was form in my vent's pot

Kne,

This hybrid is very vigorous...maybe why it did pitcher for me is because it was acclimatizing to my new conditions.
My xLady pauline is coloring up very nicely though.

Its sibu x vent? No wonder it reminds me of my sibuyanensis. Congrats on your first pitcher.

@Aliamyz: Yes, mine also took about a year before making a decent size pitcher, was making a deformed one several time. Got mine last year March. Here is the decent size and shaped pitcher, just waiting for the peristome to get reddish:

The peristome turn redder:



Wijaya,

Do you find your xJungle bells bottom stem turning brown?Because mine does.
The growing tips are fine but the stems are turning orange in colour and eventually to brown.
