All are original seedlings and each has different characteristics that make them unique for breeding. This image is reduced by 30%, click it to view full size. They range from dark reddish, to maroon-pink and even purple-black. I believe what was used instead of sumatrana is beccarina. Does anyone recall the remarks made by Geoff regarding this? It would hold true since none of the offspring have the distinct sumatrana pitcher shape. A combination of sibuyanensis and sumatrana would yield some squat pitchers, yet many from this grex are tubular. Can't remember the name of the thread or anything else though Link to Post - Back to Top LoggedNatura non facit saltum Species seed is worth its weight in platinum Valhalla when I die bucky78 Junior Member member is offline Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 61 Location: Tennessee, USA Re: N. sibuyanensis x (spectabilis x sumatrana) « Reply #5 on Feb 2, 2008, 11:23am » WOW!
