No, I grow my Nepenthes, ephiphytic Utricularias, Brocchinias and one Heliamphora in a terrarium. There is not much light during winter (only 46W
 ), but in the begginnings I grew my plants on the windowsill, without any extra light during winter, so they are prepared for this  .
