It cost me rm90. From looks of it, color is darker then red dragon.

Below source extracted from Green Culture Singapore forum
http://www.greenculturesg.com/forum/...hoto-database/
The features which make this cultivar different from other red flytraps (such as Dionaea 'Akai Ryu' or Dionaea ' Red Piranha ') are the following
A) petioles are almost always long and thin;
B) totally loses its leaves during winter;
C) totally red, except for the teeth on immature traps, which are yellow;
D) color is a deeper, darker red, almost black in the summer;
E) marginal spines are normal.

My VFT receive 9am~2pm or 3pm direct sunlight. Im using water tray for all my VFT, about 1~2cm water level. Media is pure spghagnum or sometime I mixed with perlite.

Very nice red colouration, KC. Just wonder if it maintain it's red colouration in our climate. If so, it will be nice. It's kind of difficult to keep red VFTs totally red in prolong hot weather. Those red forms from Cameron last time are extremely beautiful, entire plant in dark maroon colour. But they turned greenish maroon after a while in the lowland weather.
Please tell us if this one maintain it's colour.
