As for variegation, it would appear as linear lines of yellow running along the leaves margin. What I find is that that truncata (its parent) could be intentionly stimulated by means of chemical or harmful rays (beta / gamma)to produce desired leaf patterns and thus mass produced for the market. Thais are extremely good in this. They will make variegation or marbling out of almost any plants deem suitable.......even a coconut tree! So, is the plant came from Thailand??? Its at Jalan Junid, beside Taman Bahagia's back entrance. heheh Tarence: you posted a reply when i was replying this thread. heheh Yup, its a normal nursery, not specializing in CPs. But the last time i visit, it has added some CPs, VFT normal, akai ryu, S. Purpurea, S. Stevensii, S. Flava to name a few. The neps are the Raff Johor spotted, N. Fusca x Maxima, N. xMiranda, N. xVentrata plus some neps ordered from MT: N. Belii and N. Bicalcarata if im not mistaken. Lau wasnt there at that time, so i kindda memorize the code on the pots and compare it with the codes at the MT website ![]() ![]() Junior Member ![]() ![]() member is offline ![]() ![]() Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 77 Location: Muar, Johor ![]() « Reply #24 on Sept 10, 2007, 3:11pm » ![]() ![]() ![]() Link to Post - Back to Top ![]() Junior Member ![]() ![]() member is offline ![]() N. sibuyanensis x x trusmadiensis ![]() ![]() Joined: Jul 2007 Gender: Male ![]() Posts: 73 Location: Kaneohe HI ![]() « Reply #25 on Sept 11, 2007, 5:38pm » ![]() ![]() Link to Post - Back to Top ![]() |
