Blooming this week
Bulbophyllum sichyobulbon: emits a nice freshly shaved coconut flesh smell, second time blooming within 2 months.
Eria multiflora: small flower, each flower is only about 5-6mm in size but each cane will produce a lot of spikes and each spikes will have at least 30 flowers!!

Wow agai nice orchids...........Sad thing for my orchid.....It send out a spike with the bud getting bigger and bigger ready to bloom and just today it all turned yellow and died.

There's always something blooming in all you guys' gardens every other week
My orchids had bud blasts too last few days Ken.

The bulbophyllum has unusual flower, Eria remind me of Dend. kingnium with the mass flower display. Both very nice.

I'm also having the bud blast issue with a few orchids. usually that happen to me if the spike/buds is produced during hot season and before it bloom, the weather changes to rainy season or vice versa. andy, some of my orchids doesn't bloom according to season anymore. might be due to the way i fertilise them.
usually i will use high N fert for a few months until i feel that the plants is healthy and stores enought food. then i will change the fert to high P and K to induce flowering.

Ya, I have heard about that method. Some use this to induce them into flower prior entering a competiton. Timing is crucial then.
