Good luck, hope they do well for you! Yup, they produce gemmae, that's why I find them so easy to propagate. I gotta admit that harvesting the gemmae is rather time consuming, heh. You can see some gemmae being produced in 3 of the pics I posted. Most of them are grown indoors, but they have to make do with whatever light comes in through the window. I'm too lazy to set up lights or a terrarium for any of my CPs, heh. Some do get air-con since they're in my room and I turn on the air-con at night, but I don't cover them so they have to make do with the humidity drop at night. They don't need cooling or growlights though: the ones I grew out from gemmae do okay outdoors and I've got the various people I gave baby D. pulchellas to who can attest to this, so don't worry if you intend to grow your pygmies outdoors, they can grow just fine.
