Default Is there any way to tell?

Ok, this might not be your everyday question. I took a piece of shade cloth from a storage warehouse at work. Non of my co-workers seem to know with certainty what grade it is. Is there any way to figure this out? Maybe if I post a picture, some of the shade cloth pros in the forum might be able to tell or at least provide an educated guess? If so, I'll post a picture as soon as possible. It would be really helpful for me to figure this out. Thanks!

Later!

Hello...

You might wanna post a picture so that everyone could see and have a rough idea what percentage it is...

For a accurate answer you would have to use a light meter to test the light level...

Regards
Jonathan

True that Jonathan. I don't have a personal light meter, but I'm gonna try to borrow one that we use at work. I will also post pictures as soon as possible. Thank you for your answer.
Thanks.

Jonathan,

I do not think a picture will be necessary anymore. Someone on the ICPS forum provided me with some excellent links for comparison of my shade cloth to some online pics of shade cloth samples. Also, I got o hold of the light meter at work, dont know why I didnt think of this myself. Anyways great advice on that, between the light meter and the pictures provided on the other forum I am now 95% certain that my shade cloth is ~70-75% shade. Too much shade if you ask me, I was shooting for 50%. Off I go to search local stores for 50% shade cloth, if not my only option will be to order some. It's funny to see how sometimes the needed tools and resources rrquired for answering a simple question are at one's armlength but one just dosent notice or it dosent come to mind. Thank you, great advice. Take care.

Later.
