I feel sorry for anyone who will fall for that "marketing trick" of calling something a different name because the fake name is popular. I am sure they figured out that most people who are interested in CPs are mostly interested in Venus fly trap. But to make a story that they come from planet Venus! Whahahahaa!

Guys when I say full sun, sometimes it might be different to you, but I do give them as full sun as I can in my small savage garden.

1. Truncata is giving pitcher at least 2 pitchers at a time, now 1 extra is growing. Truncata pitchers last a long time. I have 2 Truncatas, medium or what we can call teenager. I only have it for 3 months, so I am not expert.

2. Miranda, yes also full sun, I have no burned leaves, though the leaves of my Miranda turned reddish blotch, attaching photo that I took when I just got it and it started to grow nicely:

Nurseries in Malaysia don't know the plants real name. That time I bought a VFT from a nursery, the staff call it man-eating plant.

Hi Harlem,
Many species of plant will turn reddish when exposed to direct sunlight. This is due to increase in photosynthetic pigments (carotenoids) to better absord and protect the leaf tissues from direct sunlight. If direct sunlight is not available to the plant anymore, the leaf will slowly convert back to green color which mainly comprise of chlorophylls a and b.
