Default Am I too worried?

Hey guys ,my N.Truncata's pitcher is turning black and there are no second pitcher yet.You see,I have a phobia about nepenthes dying after my first Nep, an Alata, died three years ago.So I didn't buy any Nep after that until I met Fauzi.I'm still very worried. Please HELP!!!Better safe then sorry, right?

i think the best solution is to not feed it anything. just let nature take its course.

i used to feed my pitchers mealworms. the pitchers die even more quickly when i did that.

btw, your pitcher plant looks healthy enough =)

Looks fine too me.....My truncata at the moment is pitcherless....I always never get to have my truncata have more then 2 pitchers at a time...And nope they do not like trays...If they get too wet..In my own experience they have rust spots which sometimes causes my truncata not to pitcher..Also like paphio said medium are u using?..Anyways spotted the albo in the backgroud if it is an albo.

I love and hate truncatas. Mine is currently killing one pitcher and producing another. I love their bronze peristome and spots but hate the pitcher dying quickly.

I don't know.I got it from Fauzi.Maybe it's still adjusting?Fauzi puts fertelizers in it and I took them out.May be some left inside.Neps are more hardy than most Cps ,right?Yes it is an Albo.I usually pour the water off first when I'm watering then the next day I do the same.

Some fertilizers won't hurt but too much and powerful can. So don't worry.

The fert that use by Fauzi is slow release type. So, suppose is no problem.
