Slight correction : VFTs like normal plants rest at nite. They produce food via photosynthesis in the daytime when there`s sunlight. Any food caught in their traps is additional supplement for it.

Yes, what Tarence said is correct, they don't starve to death without any prey cought even for a long period of time. Let mother nature do the job!

Don't listen to what Tarence said, there are thousands of experts out there watching !!
It just that I started this hobby earlier, that's it. What I said is what I learnt from my experience.
For your info, Tarence is a pro in drosera. Ask him, guys and gals, he is more than willingly to help .

Prof Lim also good at it you both do!

you guys Pros should post some care tips for CPs since u guys are far more experienced!
