Thats possible, but the leaves remind me of maxima's close relative, eymae. Since eymae hybrids are rarer I'd guess it is crossed with maxima.

I have quite a few N. 'Red Leopard' (EP's ventricosa x maxima clone they mass-produced) and it is, as the name implies, very spotted from the maxima parentage. Of course, there are paler forms of maxima and also green ventricosa, so there could be other crosses out there.
The pticher shape also reminds me of ventricosa x madagascariencis a bit.
