I have small pitchers from my northiana younglings but the adult female plant is still being very "pregnant dogy" of the environment. Produced long tendrils but no pitchers. Also, when I had one, I grew it under very bright lights, which it liked more than in the shade. I don't think this species loves shade as much as is oft repeated.
