actually, most of them are hybrid. seed grown with unknown parentage

i have nepenthes and drosera.

emm i wanna ask you.u face any mealy bug problems on your sarracenias?
this raining season,my sarracenia been attack crazilyby mealy bugs!
i sprayed with pesticide.it died the next day.but the day after it die,it came back.sheesh
what a pest...

what kind of pesticide you use??
have you try to pull out your plant and remove all the media??
you'll find so many mealy bug there
clean your old media, wash the root until clean from mealy bug. plant it again with new fresh media.
usually i use sistemic pesticide with kind of soap to remove the water resistant on mealy bug body.and spray about twice a week.

OK THANKS for the tip.
i use neem oil and kinda like symtemic pesticide.it works well but around 3days after it dies,it came back.

Harris,

You need to apply those neem oil or pesticide every few days. Repeat it for 2 week to totally kill all of them. It apply to any bug problem. Because, they may lay egg and tradement may didnt workable for egg. You will have the others batch of bug once they hatch.
