I think dried ones are the ones sold commercially, winterkid. I've never heard of live sphagnum moss in nurseries and home centers. I'm not sure in Cameron Highlands.
But, if your area has Ace Hardware, myherb, then you can purchase their sphagnum moss from there. Sphagnum moss is rarely sold in bulk, you get them in packets of about 5 litres for RM29-30. You can buy a few packets if you want a lot. Hope this helps.
