It is no problem... All my VFT and sarra sit on top layer of my CP rack that receive 9am ~ 2pm sunlight... and heavy rain pour on it.

Some of forumer keep their VFT under whole day sunlight

ah ic.. thanks for the info.. today, it rained heavily half of the time, and the other half it shone brightly. so, my fly trap was sitting in its water tray today, rain and shine.. hopefully it wont get root rot
