The lowest layer is......I forgot what sand is that.Washed and sieved. The next one is fine sand.Washed and...not sieved because I tried it and it just"dissapeared".The next very thin layer is some pebbles.Washed.Then it's SM.

THe lowest layer is foundation sand. And I mist it twice a day."The Savage Garden"says it can lower the temperature and make the air circulate.

Yup...supposed to be 'No need to water for a few months'But I think I sprayed too much water..Foundation soil, then peat then sphagnum moss

your terra was closed ? have you a air circulation inside ?

foundation soil = sand ?

your heliamphora was always in pot ?

I think the sand was not necessary , just for the deco then.

you put your heliamphora with the pot in your terra , you fit out with sphagnum alive or died around the pot( to keep a good hygrometry), you fill the pitcher with rain water , you spray .

and you wait for that your terra condition is right , no spray just fill the pitcher when there are no water inside .

perhaps have you make this method ?

jeff
