Default Black truncata

Just to share:
http://www.greenculturesg.com/forum/...topic=19970&hl=

Seems like quite a few Singaporean CP growers have managed to obtain the black truncata by BE. Out of curiosity, how many PP members already received theirs, or are on the waiting list?

Paphioboy,

I think Singapore must be the first to receive the plants, since no other CP forum have reported receiving them. For most of us BE have promised a September shipment date. I believe Singapore being the first receivers have to do with Cindy. Cindy is a good friend of Bob and she helps BE to organise their show in Singapore. And Singapore is an important market as they have money to spent.

BTW, we are paying only paying RM190 vs S$80. But Singapore have better purchasing power than us. The price of chicken rice in Malaysia and Singapore is RM5.00 and S$5.00 respectively. That works out skipping 38 lunches for me but only 16 for Cindy.

Cindy of course is a member of this forum as well, and if you guys want some, maybe you can contact her and have some shipped to Malaysia

Nice way on putting it in perspective with Chicken rice! For the record I enjoyed the Chicken rice I have had in both Singapore and Penang.

Haha.. Thanks for the explanation.. Chicken rice rules..! I am not interested in the black truncata, well now at the current price anyway.. Guess I have to wait for quite a few years before I decide to spend so much on a 1-inch plantlet.. :D

Fauzi expect the black N. truncata shipment to arrive before mid of September. He'll also only get 20 plants for this shipment. It's probably easier and slighty cheaper (as pointed out by Choong with the chicken rice hunger strike ) for Malaysian to get from Fauzi direct since he's the BE's authorized distributor in Malaysia.

Hi everybody,

All the plants that I've ordered are fully booked. About 40 of them. I'll try to get additional plants if there are available but it seems that currently the demand is far more greater than the supply. I am just affraid that later once the second batch is out, the price would not be the same.

For those who have ordered the N.truncata - King of Spade and Queen of Heart, the first shipment is schedule to arrived on 28th September - a week after the Hari Raya. The second batch should be coming in December - date have yet to be set. I am also eagerly waiting for this plants.

Thanks

Fauzi
