I think mine are kinda 'fatter' and seems like they've absorbed some moisture. They will usually sprout after 3 weeks or so. You'll see a green strip appearing from the side of the seed. It'll look like green thin tiny weeds at first. So don't pluck them and throw away. « Last Edit: May 3, 2007, 9:38pm by David »Link to Post - Back to Top ![]() Advisor - Nepenthes ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() member is offline ![]() ![]() ![]() Joined: Jan 2007 Gender: Male ![]() Posts: 584 Location: Sarawak,Malaysian Borneo ![]() « Reply #13 on May 3, 2007, 10:33pm » ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Link to Post - Back to Top ![]() Pioneer Member / Global Moderator ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() member is offline ![]() ![]() Joined: Dec 2006 Gender: Male ![]() Posts: 584 Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ![]() « Reply #14 on May 3, 2007, 11:58pm » ![]() ![]() Quote:Nice going TS, let me know if you have some more ampullaria seeds in the future, I would like to try this species from seeds ![]() Sure Rajah, will let you know when I have some more. I think those fat (swollen) seeds you guys mentioned should germinate in a few days time. Wish you guys luck. What Robert said is true, it's a joy looking at the plant growing from seeds to maturity, and satisfaction too. Outdoor germination is slower because of the low humidity. These nep seeds likes himidity. How is the growth of your baby amps from this batch of seeds? Link to Post - Back to Top ![]() |
