Entry 15 – S. purpurea

Is it a true purpurea? The pitchers seem rather long.

Entry 18 – S. leucophylla x psittacina

Quite nice and healthy. The dead pitchers need to be trimmed off, the pot tidied up and the mix should come almost tot he top of the pot. Nice plant, though.

Entry 33 – S. flava

The plant is a bit messy and some of the photos are out of focus, so it’s difficult to judge. Is it a green form or has it been grown in low light?

Entry 40 – S. scarlett belle

A nicely grown plant in all respects.

Entry 53 – S. psittacina

The plant appears very small. It is a little low in the pot.

Eventhough this is a small plant, the colouration is great, and the fact that the grower is growing multiple plants together to form a clump is brilliant - just like the plants grow in the wild. Obviously this plant has recieved intense sunlight - really great veins and colouration. Still stronger sunlight may make the pitchers suffuse pure red!

Entry 54 – S. catesbaeii

A vigorous, healthy plant. Looks like it could use a larger pot!

Excellent specimen of a vigorous hybrid, growing well and completely filling a pot! Really like the colouration of this strain and clearly the grower has grown this plant for a significant time considering the number of pitchers which have been produced. This hybrid has a tendancy for form large clumps in the wild, and as it grows, it will probably completely fill its pot over time.

Entry 59 – S. leucophylla

This plant is too young to judge. Also, there are many small plants in the pot. It would be better to enter a single plant when it reaches maturity.

Entry 67 – S. leucophylla hybrid

A nicely grown plant, but the correct idnetity should be determined if possible.

Really nice leuco hybrid with great colouration and vigorous, healthy pitchers. Probably of complete parentage, but very nice plant. Love the ruggled edge to the lid! Growing this plant in direct, strong sunlight with no shading at all will encourage it to produce even more vigorous and brightly coloured pitchers!
