How well CP different species Ship?
Not sure if this topic has been discussed before or not, but would like to ask:
What are your experiences on how long can different CPs actually survive in a dark box when shipped? And any tips on how to make them last a bit longer in this environment? Example: Aldro sent by post and took 14 days, was mulch when it arrived. Very young Nepenthes plants from nurseries can go around 8 days and still survive, though at 8 to 10 days some might die. I found out the hard way that one should never ship nepenthes too wet, or else they will suffer from fungust or blackening early. I have only transported Droseras for around 1 to 2 days in the dark, they do okay, but never longer than that. So, who has experienced sending Nepenthes, Droseras, Sarracenias, etc. the longest to reach it's destination? TTFN Arvin
