Search for common names

G'day,
I like write an article for my local society about common names of CP. I notice that the scientific names are used to the point that many common names are disappering. This is a shame as there is much history with the common names. For example: How many would know what a Redcoat, Fairy Apron, Bridal Rainbow, Woolly Sundew, or a Red Ink sundews are?
I looking for local common for carnivorous plants with, if possible, a bit of history about the name. Of course all help will be credited in the article.
