Hi Casey, I hae purchased many plants from Triffid Park. I can't answer your question very well though as I am fortunate enough to pick the plants up from them. I can say though that their plants are in good condition and they package a lot of plants as 99% of their sales are mail order. They also have a lot of repeat custmers so I wouldn't be concerned about purchasing from them.

Bought as a "group" (two person) purchase from them last year, my friend received the delivery so unfortunately can't answer your question, but... very happy with the plants I got from them.

1. The one nepenethes hyrbrid that I got from them looked in a sad state, but recovered nicely after a few weeks, they also were sympathetic about it while it was in a sad state.

2. VFTs were in great shape and recovered nicely, all were in great shape, though after 1 year understandably some have died. Even got royal reds, pinks and stuff, and they all were in great shape when they arrived. Didn't have the guts to buy akai ryu, but wasn't really interested in it much... too expensive.

3. Droseras, we were disallowed to import, so no experience.

4. Aldrovanda, my friend got, I think it arrived okay but eventually died in his care, not sure if shock or not... But I know Aldros are a bit sensitive unless you overnight ship it. The one that I traded with Bactrus lived nicely because I paid for Fedex shipping, 3 days arrival maximum.

In my opinion only, unless there are local sources to be found in your area, so far Triffid Park is one of the best source of VFTs in our region.
