Default Yearly weather

Hi everyone

Ummm.......As we all know that we have drier and sunnier times of the year and some times of the year where the whole day would be an overcast and normally rains in the evening.I would just like to know normally would neps actually prefer hotter days and less cloudy days compared to days which are cloudy the whole day and rains and has little sunshine?I realised that in my area during the rainy season is when my neps and CPs receive the most amount of direct sunlight...While during the dry season which as little clouds my balcony recives only bright indirect sunlight...So which do you think generally neps prefer.

Jun-Aug=Hot days little rain no direct sunlight

Oct-Dec= Cooler days more rainy/When not raining recives direct sunlight.

So which of the times do you think neps normally prefer?

Ken

Well, practically speaking, nepenthes grow in that kind of condition, kenneth. You should know that we have two monsoon season and one 'Ribut Sumatera' so I guess this is how neps live anyway. Anyways, their native areas rain and then hot sun appears, thats why they often grow in stunted forests.

Unless you mean highlanders, they are much more different.......

Cheers

You learned that in Geography, right Edward? Since Neps are native to Malaysia no need to worry so much. Like Edward said, thats how neps live, with hot and dry condition than cool and wet condition.
Highlanders....well thats a different story.

Geography is fun. I learn everything from my form one textbook.

Don't worry about neps, kenneth. They like this kind of condition in our country.

Cheers
