Hi! Ken….
Actually I sow Neps seeds in the transparent container with chopped sphagnum moss and cover it. The white patchers that u mean..I think is vapor, vapor make the transparent cover look like white patchers….
Ask u one stupid question??

If I cover them like that, seeds will die because of less breath…I quite confuse in this question…
