Nepenthes South of Peninsular Malaysia
Went looking for N. rafflesiana yesterday with TS and Jonathan down south of Peninsular Malaysia. We could only make it a day trip as we have other commitments but we were determined to go anyway even though the location we were going to took more than 5 hours by car. Add that to the hours looking for the plants and driving back, it adds up to more than 12 hours of driving time. I have never drove for so many hours in one day continuously before in my life... But it was worth it!
Here are the pictures... N. rafflesiana: An exceptionally broad peristome upper pitcher. Opening upper pitcher Dark brownish/black pitcher upper picther Lower pitcher TS found this one plant of all light green... nivea?
