Stunted N.albo!....

Need HELP!....This are my N.albo that i bought from MT,two years ago.
this are the pic when i 1st recieve the plant

as you guys can see,the plant are still the same in term of size...any idea why?...

Well i don't see any pest or anything....Your conditions i assume are okay....So to me rules up to that your media is WAY to wet They like drier conditions but don't torture them till theres hardly any water..

Now there's the EXACT thing that happened to my albo. It just got smaller and smaller before the growing tip became brown. I've tried kuching spotted, penang red and they both said goodbye after less than a year...

Media perhaps too wet and change into a better pot where the plant's leaves can stretch. You're confining the plant in the pot.

I think the plant might be starved of sunlight as well. Give it more sunlight together with what the rest suggest, ie. change media and pot, and keep the media on a dier side. Perhaps lessen the sphagnum moss in the media and add more course material like perlite etc. From the wild sites I went in Penang and in Perak, albos seem to prefer a drier media that has alot of sand and robust plants with great colours are always exposed to more sunlight.

My speckle form is also growing smaller leaves but i'm growing it in full sun together with the other two red and rubra which seems to grow very well.

I use cocopeat as media and LSM as the toppings.The other two seems to be fine with that.Any idea why?

Well guys,i've repot my albo last weekend.To my suprice to found out that my albo does not have a healty root system,it is to small.My initial planing was to repot it into the same size pot but later decide to change it into smaller pot instate.I hope that my albo will recover back and produce pitcher for me...BTW,the media used to repot is burn earth.

not surprisingly, i notice that any nepenthes that is growing poorly, will usually have a small unhealthy root system. i am trying to make it a practice to repot any plants that arent growing well. i still have some plants that are potted in the ordinary black mixed with red soil, which is rather unhealthy for neps. but it sure takes some effort to repot them not to mention messy too.

I rarely repot my neps....Cos when i do i have to break some of the roots...By accident or not..And Zul i think the burn eart should be good..Since its quite coarse and fast draining..
